The City of South Salt Lake is located in the heart of the Salt Lake Valley, nestled under the beautiful Wasatch Mountains.

South Salt Lake currently occupies a land area of approximately 7 square miles with the Jordan River as its west border. South Salt Lake has a small town feel with a large emphasis on community involvement. The newly remodeled Columbus Center, Jordan River Parkway and numerous parks and golf courses, located within the City's boundaries, provide a large array of recreational activities and community events.

A living center at midtown provides easy access to recreational and work activities. Market Station is close to freeway access for travel to the ski areas, canyons and other parts of the Valley.
